We would like to take a moment of your time to introduce ourselves and give you a little history and understanding of our facility. We have enjoyed having horses in our life for the last 50+years in many different capacities. We have bred, trained, showed, judged, raced, adopted, rescued, doctored, etc. and it has been an amazing gift to share our lives with these impressive animals.
Through the years we have learned a lot about the horse world as we maintained successful ranches in Colorado, Arizona, and now New Mexico. We know quality horses and we now pride ourselves in producing top quality horses. Anyone who tells you they know all there is to know about horses is often not worth listening to. Still today we learn and grow with these animals as we incorporate new training methods into those more traditional methods that have worked for years.
We are still firm believers in the all around horse. We believe in natural horsemanshipwith a gentle hand. We work with our horses from birth imprinting to ground manners and halter lessons. We work with the horses and with their natural ability. Too many years have passed for us to be effective under-saddle trainers but we utilize the many relationships we have developed over the years to get good riders for our animals to provide your future horse quality training.
About Us,
The La Drone Ranch is in Bernardo, New Mexico located approximately 50 minutes south of Albuquerque. Exit I-25 at the Bernardo exit. The Ranch is approximately 1.5 miles west of I-25 off the dirt La Drone Vista Road.
